Statics is hard

Statics is hard

See title.  Between yesterday and today I have spent 8.5 hours working on my Statics homework, which is 12 problems.  There are 2 I have not even started yet, and that is working with a group of 3, not just by myself.  Jeesh.

A few weeks ago, there were a couple of guys that came to our school handing out little pocket Bibles.  Amanda and I invited them to join us at our prayer meeting, which lined up very nicely timing wise with their visit, and one of them came and joined us!  So, yesterday morning Amanda and I went to the prayer meeting he invited us to at his work, and it was really awesome to meet a few people outside the school.  I stopped by the cathedral on the way back, because she had not seen it yet, and she thought it was so pretty that she wanted to go to a service there, which we did this morning.  We also happened to find out that there is going to be a stained glass tour of Rapid City next week, and I am hoping to go on that with a few of my friends.

I have my music scholarship audition this coming Friday, and it is a little stressful how little time I have had to work on it this week.  I am going to force time into the schedule over the next few days, though, even though I don’t really have time with what homework has been recently.

I received a calculus test back a few days ago, and didn’t do as well as I was hoping.  Then again, I was hoping to keep my grade in the class at 100%, so I guess I can’t complain too much about a high 90’s score… Seriously, though, I had something like 100.4% in that class from a couple random extra credit points near the beginning of the year, and now I am down to a 98.  Sad day.

I have a chemistry and a physics test tomorrow… wish me luck!  Only a few weeks left, and I only have a handful of tests left before my finals!  Very exciting.

Talk to you next week! -Christopher
